Model Rocketry

My interest in rocketry and flight began as a cub scout when I participated in my first model rocket launch around 15 years ago. Since then I have had a distinct interest in rockets that has manifested itself in my hands-on exploration of model rockets. My first rockets were built out of PVC pipe and foam and were so heavy that they went only a few yards into the air. Through trial and error, personal research and now my academic studies I have gained significant understanding of rocketry and have built and designed numerous successful model rockets. Looking forward, I am hoping to begin working on High Powered Rockets and eventually getting certified to launch high impulse rockets through Tripoli, a national rocketry association.

The video below depicts my earliest attempts to design and build my own scratch built model rocket.
