Model Rocket Launch Pad (GC 120)

This academic project required that a device be reversed engineered and modeled using Solidworks. Once the original parts were modeled, a design improvement had to be chosen, modeled, and supported by a written rationale. Due to my interest in model rocketry, I chose a model rocket launch pad and improved it by adding a joint, allowing the rod to be rotated and it’s angle adjusted. The project write up is included below and includes the rationalization for the chosen design modification, individual part drawings, and fully assembled launch pad model.
